Wow this has been one of the best years of girls basketball I can remember for the state of Louisiana in a long long time. From the buzz around Kim Mulkey to having the number 1 player in the country and not to mention a lot of great high school basketball it's safe to say the state of Louisiana girls basketball is trending upwards and possibly to new heights! We have seen some outstanding basketball as well as great crowds throughout the course of this state tournament but we only have two days left in the 2021-2022 season. Wossman will give them a battle and all they can handle but the experience of Madison Prep will leave them winning back to back state championships!

Mikayla Williams put on an absolute show last night and we can expect much of the same tomorrow night! This Ponchatoula home crowd will impact the game giving the team some life. While this is a rematch of a game earlier in the year I fully expect it to be much much closer and we'll have another instant classic as Parkway pulls away down the stretch to win its first state championship in program history!
